What to include when you ask for a quote
Vehicle make, model and year, plus the coverage you want, are what the price rests on. Start with the vehicle type, make and model if you have it, and let us know whether the work is for one vehicle or several. If your vehicle has custom parts, older paint, stone chips or a recent respray, mention that too because surface condition affects prep and finish. A quick photo or two helps a lot, especially for curved panels, roof lines, bumpers and alloy wheels.
If you are working to a deadline, tell us your preferred timing. We schedule around business use, fleet delivery dates, launch dates and load-shedding windows where possible. For coastal vehicles, we also look at salt air exposure and recommend the right film and aftercare so the finish lasts longer.
Services we quote on every day
Auto Wrap SA handles a full range of vehicle and fleet services from our Kya Sand base in Johannesburg, with wrap bays available nationwide. We can quote on individual upgrades or a full package. If you need more than one service, ask for a combined quote so we can plan the sequence and save you time.
- Vinyl colour changes for personal vehicles and branded fleets
- Paint protection film for high wear panels and front ends
- Window tinting for comfort, privacy and heat control
- Interior wraps for trim refreshes and commercial vehicles
- Wheel refurbishment for curb marks, fading and tired finishes
- Wrap removal and safe adhesive clean-up
- Aftercare support for wrapped and protected vehicles
We also price fleet brand standard work, artwork preparation and surface preparation where needed. If you are not sure what your vehicle needs, send us the basics and we will guide you through the options.
How the quote process works
Once your enquiry comes in, our team reviews the vehicle type, service request and timing. Dhivana handles sales enquiries, Candice checks artwork and production details, and if the job is technical Tshepo can advise on paint protection film or tint. For fleet work, Ayanda coordinates the project plan so vehicles move through the bays without unnecessary downtime. A clear quote is then sent through with the scope, any notes on prep and the expected turnaround.
- Send your vehicle details and photos through our contact form
- Tell us which service or services you need
- Share your preferred dates and location
- Receive a tailored quote with next steps
- Approve the job and book your slot
If your vehicle is coming from Sandton, Midrand, the East Rand, Pretoria or Durban, we will confirm the nearest service area for the job. That keeps transport simple and avoids delays.
What affects the price
Every vehicle is different, so quotes are based on practical factors rather than a flat rate. Panel count, film type, prep work, access to the vehicle and the level of detail all matter. A small hatchback colour change is not priced the same as a long-wheelbase van or a full fleet of panel vans. Tinting on large glass areas, or wheel refurbishment on damaged rims, will also change the final amount.
We also consider job conditions. If a vehicle needs extra cleaning, paint correction or adhesive removal before wrapping, that is built into the quote. In hotter months or during power interruptions, we may recommend booking times that suit curing and finishing better. It keeps the work neater and reduces rework.
Helpful details to send with your enquiry
Use the list below as a quick checklist before you send us a message. It helps us respond with a proper figure instead of a rough guess, and it cuts down on back and forth.
- Vehicle type, registration year and model if known
- Service needed, such as wrap, tint, PPF or wheel refurb
- Number of vehicles if it is a fleet
- Preferred colour, finish or brand standard requirements
- Photos of the current condition and any damage
- Your timing, deadline or launch date
- Your location or nearest area from our service network
If you already have artwork, send it with your vehicle details and intended branding layout. If not, we can assist with layout and production so the final result is tidy and consistent across the fleet. That matters when the same vehicle model is being rolled out in more than one branch or city.
Where we work and how to reach us
Our main base is in Kya Sand, Johannesburg, and we support customers across Gauteng and beyond through our wrap bays and service areas. We regularly work with clients in Sandton, Midrand, the East Rand, Pretoria and Durban. For fleet bookings, we can map out the best route and timing based on the number of vehicles and where they are parked.
Send your request through our contact form and include as much detail as you can. If you are unsure what to ask for, just send the vehicle type and what you want it to do for your business or daily use. We will take it from there, and come back with a quote that makes sense.
